How Much Do You Question? (anything)
And why that question is important.

Questioning
If you are someone who has always counted on things around you to simply be fixed, somehow, by someone else, those days are gone. Our world and reality are in extreme transition.
Time to start really paying attention to events, the unfolding, and not only to what you see, but also what you don’t see. What’s missing?
Time to watch for the incongruities, the inconsistencies, the little details between the lines. Do not persist in looking straight ahead with blinders on. See what is there on the periphery, hiding almost out of view.
Time to question, question, question.
Time to take personal responsibility for your future.
And most of all, time to listen to your gut, what your own inner wisdom tells you.
Within You
You ask "Where's the truth?” I say it resides in your core, it's that feeling in your gut, that you may often ignore. Society says it's the facts, I ask you, “Whose facts?” With experts at every turn, there are too many, alas!
Our phones are their key to enslaving us all, they want us distracted, our minds at their call. For centuries the game has been played the same, they rule us with our fears, our guilt, blame, and shame.
So that feeling you have that something's not right, is the key to the truth and changing our plight.
What Would You Do?
If you believed it was the end of the world as we know it, what would you be doing right now? Would you still be shopping for a new couch, on which to watch movies about the end of the world? Would you continue to view life as external to you, or would you begin to look inward?
Would you start to see yourself as part of the solution to change our struggling world, or would you look away - losing yourself in the drivel on your phone, the latest celebrity gossip and tell yourself it will all be okay?
I am here to tell you it won't be okay without you; it’s time to look up and open your eyes. Tyrants are wrecking our planet and lives, you can choose to awaken, or continue to sleep.
You are part of it All, there is nothing external to you, and when you see that, things will change. Life is worth saving from those who do not respect it or us, so at the end of the world, what would you do?
What If?
What if we need to start asking ourselves "What if?" to change our future?
What if alternate new energies were unveiled, to stop the oil wars?
What if we learned how to cooperate, instead of resorting to bombs?
What if the money we work so hard for was used to build, not destroy?
What if we pledged to treat all Life around us with a new reverence?
What if we wanted the Earth to mend, and not just for our survival?
What if we all learned how to plant food, to at least grow our gratitude?
What if all humans were enabled to thrive, to reach their potential?
What if instead of selfishness, humanity became popular?
What if we each took responsibility for all humankind?
What if we all dreamed a much more beautiful dream, and dared to claim it?
What if?
Many questions to ponder, and so many I did not ask. When we’re told we’re not allowed to question, you know it’s urgently time to question everything. I see that people are awakening, and there are many on Substack who question.
What are the “What If?” questions that come to mind for you, when you think of building a better world? Please leave your questions in the Comments, so everyone can ponder them.
I was late on this newsletter, so I will send another early next week. (I promised 2X per week.) I hope you have a wonderful weekend. And remember, you are on the winning side. :)
“Within You”, “What Would You Do?”, and “What If”, are excerpts from Humanity’s Lament: Poetry for Our Times. They have been reformatted here for compactness and ease of reading this newsletter. Humanity’s Lament is a free ebook.
